Two arrested, police now leaving. No idea what that was about. Couldn't hear any disturbance this evening.
One arrested so far
Sat here watching crap on the internet and doing some coding on one of my far too many projects, police turned up for a house over the road. 1 car load and 2 van loads of coppers have so far gone in there.
Now out of hospital but another week of multiple oral antibiotics to go. Improving, but still feel pretty rotten.
Also, being on 12 IV bags of various medications per day is really wearing. No rest.
Today I have managed to eat roughly half an egg and an ounce or so of beef. I can't face eating right now, feel so sick all the time.
Being stuck on a hospital ward with IV antibiotics is really boring.also can't get any kip as staff are around every hour or for various checks.
I remember last time I was in the states and a lot of places still weren't even taking chip and PIN at point of sale, I still had to sign on an ELECTRONIC PAD for a debit card purchase. Mental.

Another day of bright sunshine. This is unnatural for Lancashire and the reservoirs are massively down on normal levels for the time of year. Desperately need some rain.
It's interesting to note that governments across Europe are now indicating that tech contractors are no longer allowed to use US based software and services because of this. I hope the pushback against the constant bullying of the US continues.
At this point in time I think the only way to deal with America is for the rest of the world to keep raising retaliatory tariffs against the US until it's completely cut off from trade.

Just over a week ago I ended up with a partial dislocation of my right shoulder. That was sorted but I think there's some residual internal damage as it's still surprisingly painful in use. Guess I'll go see a medical professional of some sort of it's still bad after Xmas.
