Well, that was a *lousy* two weeks and a bit. Now, if migraine, depression *and* cold can kindly stay away until next winter, I shall be most pleased.

Being kinder to yourself about not getting writing done is definitely a good thing
Getting trapped in the trenches of revisions, sometimes there's only one escape ... from said revisions ... and the cats π
They're very fun to write and spending time with familiar characters in a sort of 'adventure/monster/chaos' of the week makes it feel like returning to check in on old friends.
You'll have to share the cover with us once everything is finished. And if a story is fun to write *and* fun to read, then that's all that matters #WeeknightWriters

You're already doing it. Having been able to return here (after the great twitter escape) and talk to fellow authors has been wonderful ππ
Every time.
Nice. A more realistic one or something in a more steampunk brass style?
More cake *nods* #WeeknightWriters

Deep breaths. Stress less (yeah, good luck with that one Mae) *NOT* looking at the news.
Hear Hear!
He's adorable π»
... some ... of them, absolutely. #WeeknightWriters
Go You! And thanks to all the people who put out YT videos that help us do these things #WeeknightWriters
ooo, extra handy :) :)
Ordering cover art is always equal parts joy (yay, more art) and dread (that it won't turn out as well as hoped). Anything in particular that you've settled on already? #WeeknightWriters
Mine passed a month and a half ago, so still getting used to the cat shaped hole in my life :(
Haha, there's always space for cat photos. #WeeknightWriters
Agreed. As long as it doesn't try to suck us into the Twilight Zone while it's at it #WeeknightWriters
If anyone tells you that makes your struggles less, then they're not worth listening to (including that little voice in the back of your mind that insists that it's true).

Wait, what happened to 3 and 4?

Hmm, well, the weather's finally decided that spring has, well, sprung and my fingers aren't freezing when typing on the laptop, so that's nice.
Would have been good to say sunshine and kitties, but while there's sun, there's a sad lack of kitties.
That's a lot more than *fair to partly cloudy*. Ouch #WeeknightWriters
Picking it back up when the 'themes' are memories (bad memories, but memories all the same) seems like a good idea.
Ah, you get to enjoy the *goodbye cold/hello cold* that makes up the winter season, too. Hope it stays away for you this time.
A good thing #WeeknightWriters doesn't have audio-cues ... or we'd all be drowning in the various and very loud complaining growls and screeches we'd all be making.
Coordinating people is never easy. Actually, now that I think about it, it's probably harder when trying to do it for fun activities than work.
Great for indie games ... turns out it's now also great for indiebooks. Definitely a win/win - though hustling to get all of them sorted at once wasn't the most enjoyable experience lol #WeeknightWriters
