If you’re roughly my age, it’s wild to reflect on the optimism for the future Americans felt when Obama was elected — young Americans spontaneously took to the streets to celebrate! — and contrast with what we face today. The falloff over the past 18 years is hard to process.

He’s not protecting others; he’s protecting himself and hiding. You can see plenty of people at the entry door, ready to take on the insurrectionists, but not Markwayne.

Our taxes are paying for this instead of healthcare.

The NYT was out with new reporting today about the high tech, military-grade, wildly expensive gear ICE is using. A reminder that there IS money for healthcare, and nutritional assistance, and education, and housing assistance for Americans.

We're in a time in American history where the president of the United States is sending FBI agents out to help rig the midterms. This is not an administration, it's a mafia doing their dirty work for all to see & I am FURIOUS at everyone who helped normalize this level of crime in our government.
