DHS Ousts CBP Privacy Officers Who Questioned ‘Illegal’ Orders Department of Homeland Security leaders removed top privacy officers who objected to mislabeling government records to block their public release, WIRED has learned.

DHS is retaliating against FOIA officers for making lawful releases.

At the same time, most of the agency's FOIA officials (including at CBP) are furloughed, and the govt's procurement database has been absorbed by a website that effectively makes it unusable.
