For me it's The Hill.
For me it's The Hill.
Can I be one of the #runningpunks if I'm listening to Percy Faith?
Never heard of Noah's Castle. I likes a bit of dystopia. Just read the book on the Internet archive. Price inflation, unemployment and empty food shelves. So much has changed since the 70s.
How well does it hold up? I think I was about 7 when I last saw it, and it was the best thing since the 6 million dollar man at the time.
I was 9 in Leicestershire in 1981 and I loved ABBA. I seem to remember the older kids being into ska and the mod look. There weren't many punks in my village. I don't recall seeing a zx81 or a c64 etc till 82 or 83, but I may be wrong.
Didn't happen. (Did I do it right?)
@outonbluesix.bsky.social. I'm reading your book "Higher Than The Sun" and enjoying it immensely. It's helped me rediscover old 12" remixes I haven't heard since the year it came out. I now feel 35 years younger and will probably throw out a hip performing an ill-advised move. Thanks awfully.
Well there's an evening of my time lost. Thank you so much for this!
I'm glad that none of the ยฃ15000 she's been claiming in backhanders lately has been spent in Pret. That would be awful.
The apocalypse is already here. It's just not very evenly distributed
Oooh! I know this one!
Yep I did find that helpful. Thanks again.
Thanks. I'll check it out.
Are there any more articles you could recommend for a NT that is trying to learn how to reduce communication breakdowns with an ND person? This one was very interesting, but seemed more of an initial introduction to the topic.
Ooh! I remember the demo's. I shall give that a watch when I get a moment. Cheers!
Sanxion was incredible. Still the best videogame theme tune ever.
A painting of Quint, from the movie Jaws
16/365. Part 2 of Quint. I really don't hate this, even though I didn't get all his face in. #art #badart #digitalpainting
15/365 Quint from Jaws. Probably my favourite film. After the disaster that was the last portrait I am changing the rules a bit. If I'm enjoying the process, and want to carry on, I can extend them for another 30 mins. #art #badart #digitalpainting
An appalling painting of a woman that makes her look like a burns victim with equine dna
14/365 Some days anything you touch turns to shit. This is without doubt the worst thing I've ever painted. I mean. Look at it. It is supposed to represent Julia Davis. Ah well. Tomorrow is another day. #art #badart #digitalpainting
That's lovely
Oh balls. I loved that place.
Johnny Cash. Painted with a fat head and a very odd proboscis.
13/365 on this day in nineteen somethingorother Folsom Prison was released. The album that is. Not the prisoners. For some reason I have made Cash fat. And given him a Penis for a nose #art #badart #digitalpainting
A painting of Julie Newmar as Catwoman
12/365 It would be wrong to paint the best Batman and not follow it up with the best Catwoman. I only wish I'd done Julie Newmar justice. Hair is difficult to do in 30 minutes #art #badart #digitalpainting
An acceptably shoddy painting of Adam West as Batman
11/365. On this day in history, Batman appeared on telly for the first time in 1966. This was so much fun to do. Adam West is the best Batman ever.. #art #badart #digitalpainting
This one takes me back.
A pisspoor painting of Nurse Ratched holding a microphone.
10/365. Nurse Ratched from One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. I stumbled across a photo of her today and was struck by her haircut. Whatever happened to cuts like that? Again, as portraits go, it's bobbins, but I think I'm improving. #art #badart #digitalpainting
A painting of Clive Dunn in the role of Jack Jones.
9/365 Clive Dunn. Born today in 1920. He was younger than me when he took on the role of Jack Jones in "Dad's Army". I suddenly feel very old #art #badart #digitalpainting
A black and white painting of Ada Byron
8/365 Lady Ada Byron. The Queen of Engines in Gibson's novel. #art #badart #digitalpainting again I'm practising with limited palettes. I'm actually not totally appalled by this one. Mind. It still looks nothing like her.
