In his 11 years we never had a “Lukaku” type striker that was consistently good over multiple seasons because he hasn’t got a clue.
In all of Moyes’ teams everywhere he’s never had a ‘prolific’ striker.
Just not confident at all Barry is a player Moyes is gonna get the best out of.
Pressure would be off if we had a striker that could score goals. But Moyes had a reputation last time for killing strikers. The likes of Jelavic and Yakubu all fell apart after 1 season because he didn’t know how to manage them.
Be livid if I was Dibling or Röhl watching this. In fact, I am livid.
Moyes’ poor game management (and dare I say man-management with Barry) has cost us a win here. We’re never gonna get the best out of either Beto OR Barry if they only get 45mins each every game. Either needs to be afforded 90mins at some point.
