What are the best estimates out there of heterogeneity in "income effects" over the income distribution?

I donβt know the answer to that. But I do know a recipe for galah soup. Wisdom that goes back a long way in Australia. You put the galah and a stone in a pot of boiling water. You keep cooking it, possibly for a long time, until the stone is soft. Then you throw out the galah and eat the stone.
