The brain drain has been massive, no doubt, but I’m more devastated by the ‘heart’ drain. So many ppl who were passionately devoted to the mission ultimately forced to leave. Especially true for FEMA — working for survivors is a calling for many.

NOAA provides an array of products & services to help local-level officials understand and act to prevent adverse impacts of climate change. The precip data are moving fwd (so far). We also need to protect other things. Reauth of Digital Coast Act can help. Get the word out and support that!
