Definitely helped knowing at the time I had that hair for a character who would have stabbed those guys in a heartbeat though. lol
Honestly? His hair getting shorter 10000% makes him easier for me to cosplay. Using my real hair for his ancient design looked good but got me misgendered and treated more weirdly than any other hair I've ever had. Mind boggling how different people acted.

If something seems too good to be true, look into it. Often it's actually a scam and someone being underpaid and hidden from your view. At BEST it's full on mechanical turk time. At worst it's slavery.
No different than gas prices going up in anticipation of the possibility of increased back end costs long before anything actually changes.
I'm not saying production at scale doesn't have advantages or that it's not a cost saver for real non human rights violation reasons. But I am saying that the real cost and time saving is an excuse to ALSO under pay people and claim the savings is all mechanical and not the exploitation going on.
Mass production generally speaking, is human labor you're not looking directly at. It's not magic. It's not "all machines". Most of it isn't even THAT automated. Anything at all being mostly by machine is incredibly new. Like last 50 - 80 years new.
I was thinking about how absurd it is that I've run into so many weavers who think you can't weave with homespun. Then it got me thinking about how many folks don't really understand mass production.

I want a game that's basically Red Dead Redemption from the perspective of the horse. A horse simulator where by sheer coincidence you're owned by a series of gruff bearded men on ill-defined quests for vengeance, a different one each chapter. Gruff bearded men come and go, but Horse is eternal.
There's a lot of places that auto reject too basically. So that's also "fun".

It's so much cheaper to not means test too. There's so many systems that have a huge amount of overhead that's almost all means testing admin. Cut that out and the program gets infinitely more sustainable even with a massive increase in recipients.
the fact that 900 people could afford to give $3000 to everyone else and probably not really even notice the difference is the real problem
i'm not an economist but if 900 people can afford to fund $3,000 checks to damn near everyone else in america and still be insanely fuckin rich afterwards maybe they have too much fuckin money
