Op, new pokemon starters announced! As beloved tradition, I learned through a flood of fast-moving fanart.

It was a Zelgadis/OC fanfic, I think on the author's Geocities site I found through a Slayers webring. I must have been around 15/16.

I still think about it sometimes, the author had done some illustrations too. I thought it was beautiful and I hope they are doing well.

I just realized one of the two art pieces I'm missing from my animal crossing museum is one I was SURE I had, so I ignored it all the times I saw it. It's even one I'm so familiar with I can tell the real from fake without looking it up. I'm so embarrassed with myself.

I finished my library book, Scarlet Morning by ND Stevenson, on Thursday and I still haven't stopped thinking about it. I'm so sad I'm not reading more of it right now. It's so so good and I recommend it to everyone.

There is a piece of Exalted that has stuck in my life - Calibration. A time of chaos and non-time, only my household uses it to refer to the week between Xmas and New Years. Nothing matters right now, just do your best and ride the wave of leftover snacks and holiday lights still fighting the dark.

I hurried to eat a yogurt bar on my way to the light rail, thinking eating food on the train was verboten, only to see two folks eating whole ass take out bowls of noodles. I done messed up.

Making sugar cookies last night with my fam, and my nephew let me know he'd get me free ice cream from his work while I was in town. It was the sweetest thing it made my whole day. <3

My coffee pot tragedies continue.
I bought a "new" coffee maker from Amazon. It was not new, so I returned it.
I bought one from Costco's website. Waited two weeks for the delivery of... a massive mixer/juicer they shipped me instead.
I just want my drip coffee back...
