We need more moral leadership in this country, and less political leadership. I don't mean preachers. I mean people who serve as a quiet example in our everyday lives, of what doing the right thing looks like.

The sound in certain parts of the stands is AWFUL. Zero bass. Especially if you're underneath an overhang, it almost might not be worth it.
little domino: scotus strikes down trump tariffs
big domino: chief justice kyle rittenhouse
Merrick Garland reading the South Korea news like βI donβt get it.β
The succession fight is going to be nasty; keeping this info secret (and in turn keeping alive the twisted fantasy that Trump will run in 2028) prevents it from starting up for real.
Original DOOM wasn't too far off reality
I agree, but I'm trying to come up with exactly *why* and I'm really having trouble putting my finger on it. STP's sound was more innovative, and PJ was/is more a product of its era, but that's still not entirely it.
Every time they release more Epstein files, itβs like βoh, THATβs why they didnβt want to release them.β
This is one of my favorite charts because the obvious implication is ... obvious, but you absolutely are not allowed to say it out loud in US public discourse.
Glad to see real Arena support!
They all need to watch "Cartmanland"
I just gave my 20yo a rundown of the day's news, and he said, "It's all so dumb, it's hard to take seriously and so it's hard to fight. We'd be better at fighting smarter authoritarians!"
"We'd be better at fighting smarter authoritarians" is going to stick with me.
Ouch.
Wait does this repeal the "SNL rule"? (basically you don't have to watch it but you have to stay up until it starts or else you might get old)
Genghis Khan and the Making of the Modern World
Perhaps the reason for the most hope is that the public seems to be rejecting the Republican news environment prevalent across virtually all media. Voters aren't falling for it, as overwhelming as it has felt to watch our institutions fall. They can handle the truth!
For the second time in the past week, I almost got ran over crossing the street at a marked crosswalk by a distracted driver who only braked when I screamed.
i really wish our law enforcement and media werent telegraphing to mass shooters that messages written on bullets will be breathlessly and uncritically publicized with no further examination
tapping a credit card to get on the bus
Shortest splitline or bust. Humans need to be totally out of the loop.
Put the Epstein files on the blockchain.

Hehe I kid -- I think it more directly goes back to whichever MTV execs originally greenlit "The Real World"
CBS News should just change their name to Trump News, cause after the bribe thatβs all it is.
Sometimes MA Dems temporarily unregister to make strategic votes in the GOP primary, especially when the Dem primary is a foregone conclusion. Not a fan of Kraft, but let's be fair here.
Very similar thing happened with the joint Rutgers/UMDNJ program 20 years ago. UMDNJ faculty didnβt want to let go of molecular biology requirements for students doing a more systems/psych focus. There was no resolution and the programs split (and then for unrelated reasons UMDNJ closed).

"Is the Pope Catholic?" would cease to be a rhetorical question.
Especially needed since Starbucks is tightening its policies and closing stores.
The problem with most machine-based random number generators is that theyβre not TRULY random, so if you need genuine randomness it is sometimes necessary to link your code to an external random process like a physical noise source or the current rate of US tariffs on a given country.
