I am not sure I said anyone should do that. I am not a Newsom fan. What I said was that, rather than expect others to divine who could win their support, they should work to elect someone better. If Newsom is the nominee though, do you think trans people will be any better off with the GOP?

I am agreeing with you about Newsom. He said the Dems should not be distracted by the current administration disappearing people like Abrego Garcia, when they should be focused on economic issues.

Not sure who you think “my lot” is, but you are likely mistaken. I agree that fecklessness has caused a great deal of harm. But I’m an old soul. I recognize that elections are buses, not taxis. It’s rare to get one to go exactly where you want, so you pick the one closest to your destination.

Understand your frustration. Perhaps the answer is to figure out who you can support, and then ***work your ass off*** to get them the nomination. Failing that, pls reflect on the immense harm that can be done when people like you sit out and we get someone like our current president.

Last year, we went to see both Ringo and Paul. In our opinion, Ringo’s show was more personal, more entertaining, and not at all over produced. He seemed into the music. McCartney’s show recycled some of the props from the tour the year before (think pyrotechnics), and just wasn’t as much fun.

If they have to provide money to support the soldiers, take it out of the ICE appropriation.

Called both senators’ offices today. Urged them to vote against the defense supplemental when it comes up. And said if they feel they must provide the funds to support the troops, that they should shift the money away from ICE.
