As always, I have many questions for Donald, the most immediate one here being, does he realise that it's very difficult to welcome someone and threaten to murder them in the same sentence?

This sort of thing is going to be a real drag on him getting in power. "Fine" (not fine) when you're only speaking to an audience of your hardcore voters, but most people would see this and think he was a twat.

Just so I'm clear, your contention is the "argument" has been won, and that all we need to convince people of this fact is to elect / locate a "strong liberal leader", is that right?

If that is the case, do you think said leader might need to *persuade* people of the rightness of his position?

Also to add to this, the idea that the argument can ever be *won* has, well, not been borne out by events.

This isn't an issue limited to migration either. The struggles of liberals over the last decade or so is like the kid shouting "but miss, this is against the rules", while the bully merrily dunks their head in the toilet
