Let me tell you something. Yβall are asking too many damn questions at every point of sale. I have to leave a comment, make a suggestion, donate to a charity, choose a method of payment three times and then multiple choice of ways to get a receipt.
Take the damn money and leave me alone.
Ohh I hate these so much. Or those with a series of icons as numbers, but then introduce undefined symbols. Or the ones that are different if you use a shitty calculator.
I want to give a pass to the "The answer is 5!", where the answer is 120 (or 5x4x3x2x1), I feel that is more a language puzzle
Last year when I was checking into a hotel, the desk person was wearing Meta glasses. I kindly asked them to take them off. They were annoyed. I said, βI do not consent to you looking at my credit card and ID with Meta glasses on.β My instincts were correct: www.bbc.com/news/article...
Your job is to maintain inter-settlement communications towers at various airports and outposts in the Megastructure.
Land, fix, go on to the next one.
What could go wrong?
This feels like a helpful primer for understanding AI in general. It makes programmers more efficient on the front end because they can generate more code. But it makes them less efficient afterwards because it vastly increases the amount of time they spend tweaking and fixing bugs.
We're making a game where you play a courier rider in 13th century Mongolia
No combat, just you, the horse(s) you've tamed, bred and trained and the vast wilderness.
Would you play this?
This game is about to release into Early Access TODAY and I have a spare giveaway key. I'll post it into the replies for anyone to grab once this post reaches 500 reposts

The Indian plate is part of the Indo-Australian plate, which underlies the Indian Ocean and Bay of Bengal, and is moving north-east at an average of 60 mm/a (0.075 in/Ms).
I can overlook millimetres per year, but what utter anarchy of a unit is inches per megasecond
On a scale of 1 to 10 how much do you hate it when a scale runs from 1 to 10
Me, I'm at the exact middle point on this scale. 5.5 out of 10
Thoughts after replaying a couple of the SimCity games, and how a single, straightforward decision can change the entire feel of a game
Why do I have to pretend that I'm going to print something in order to save it as a PDF. Why do I have to engage in a little ruse.
One of my least favorite things around AI in video games is when these LLM idiots try to say that "AI has been in video games for decades," as if the routines that tell ghosts to chase Pac-Man are exactly the same as the chat bot claiming there are nine Rs in strawberry.
This is probably ok
Next week LinkedIn will use your personal data for AI training by automatically enabling permissions.

a windows 11 menu showing "convert to adobe pdf", "ask copilot", and 4 more options that take time to load
windows 11 update: for the first time in my life, simply right clicking a file has a load time. unreal
Chatbot-first UX is a trap.
Many tasks need structure, rich, multi-modal interaction patterns that conversational interfaces simply cannot support. And predictable steps. A big empty box where you ask people to prompt something is not going to work for most of them.
Burnout 3 is underrated as one of the very, very best games of all time because you can show Burnout 3 footage to people two decades later and their reaction will still be "hell yeah, this rules. I wanna play this right now."
Jennifer @JenYetAgain@beige.party in 2017 a popular twitter game was to type a partial phrase then see what your phone auto-completes it with. this proved so popular that it is now the only business model in the US. Feb 9, 2026 at 4:35:18PM Boosted by 968: Favourited by 1324:

A bunny sits at an old windows computer, playing computer games late at night. Other games as well as cds are strewn about the room, and also empty plastic bottles. The bunny has a beanbag chair, and also a pet turtle

Want the shit in your google drive to load instantly again, instead of taking for-fucking-ever? Open your gdrive (web OR app) Settings > Manage Apps Gemini was checked "use as default" (and i sure the fuck didn't set it that way, this was a silent push) Nuke that, and suddenly, folders that took up to a minute to populate and sort do so in a fraction of a second.

THis is actually a really good illustration of why LLMs are just...kind of not that good at a lot of the things they're sold as being good at: The thing doesn't fucking understand or know what the question is, it's doing pattern recognition and that breaks down on a long enough timescale.
Notice reading: "Important: If you're located in the UK, you may be part of an experiment where your information will be processed by an age-assurance vendor, Persona. The information you submit will be temporarily stored for up to 7 days, then deleted. For ID document verification, all details are blurred except your photo and date of birth, so only what's truly needed for age verification is used."
Discord advises UK users that they "may be part of an experiment" where instead of their age verification data never leaving their phone, it will now actually leave their phone
