geforce now could be an option. It's not optimal, but it's cheaper on the short-term to just play a game for a bit.
Just on this image alone are over $1000 I get to save with #XboxGamePass in 2025. This doesn't even include the new COD, the Oblivion remake or all the other games from 1st and 3rd party still to be announced.
This is absurd. My good folks, what an insane year GP subscribers are about to have.
@jezcorden.com can we assume that the games from the dev direct will be on xbox cloud gaming day one? Is there a rule of thumb for knowing which games will be on the cloud and when?
Play on a phone, TV whatever, and on top of this have no downloads. It’s the future, always has been. MSFT sees the console players of today as essentially DVD players. No one cares if you buy stranger things on dvd. 98% watched it through Netflix. That’s what Gamepass will become imho.
Gaming is inevitably going to become a cloud sub. GeForce now for example has lower latency than a Series X. Most people against cloud gaming don’t take hardware latency into account. When Xbox releases Sebile (The Direct to WiFi) controller. It’s game over imo. No downloads, play on a tablet…
I seem to be luckier with cloud gaming performance than most. But I just played Hades on the boy's Quest 3 and now I'm selling every TV in the house to buy us all a headset each.
