I got this companion the other day. I normally ignore the pets, but I've had Luma out most of the time, because dogs. π

Happy birthday, young man! Have an amazing day!
Ironically, when I was 13 and saw the episode for the first time, I thought it was great. It was only after I grew up and saw that people thought it was silly that I knew it had the reputation that it does.
Randy was on fire last night! It was amazing with front row seats. π
I don't particularly understand the fandoms today. They say they like something, but unless all forms that come out in the future are exactly like what came before, they hate it. Star Wars *fans* are actually a lot worse than what I've seen from Star Trek. Let's just enjoy things!
Dude, I'm younger than you (by a year?) and I'm THIS old.
And yet, I would take him 1000x over what the R's have put forth. If it's him and another turd from the right, I bet you'd vote for him anyway.
Looks just like my Annabelle. She's been gone for 4 years already. I really miss her. π
Beautiful dog!
Erasure: Chorus. Honorable mention: Erasure: I Say I Say I Say
Can I watch the Laurel and Hardy films with you? Iβve been a big fan since I was a kid. π
lol, no worries. 4 was my gateway drug into trek. Saw it in theaters and there was no going back!
TMP is my favorite Star Trek film. It's the one that truly tries to be science fiction. It attempts to be bigger and show that space is vast and wondrous. The later films always have a villain (except IV) and can't move past that. I cringe when I hear that they have the best villain since Khan.
The Enterprise placed silver at Modelpalooza last weekend! Iβm thrilled with its showing. It generated a ton of interest, and people were really impressed by it. Now begins the long wait for Wonderfest.
I got the Enterprise and Tie Fighter set up at Modelpalooza. People were already dropping by and taking pictures, asking questions, and basically having a good time. Tomorrow the show starts in earnest. Should be fun!
Thanks! If you do a search on YouTube, I did a 28 part series on the build for the one pictured. The channel is βMattβs Model Shopβ. If youβre really bored you can get some tips there!
Iβve built 2 of those and am midway through a 3rd. I think itβs a sickness! π
Getting prepped for Modelpalooza in Orlando next week. The Enterprise needed to be cleaned up, as itβs been sitting on the shelf collecting dust for awhile. I think she still looks great!
It seems to me that while the StarCruiser was in existence, it would have made sense to tie it in to one of the shows. Unfortunately, we'll never know.
I'm constantly questioning my life's choices that led to where I am today. Maybe I'm getting old, but it sure feels like something is messed up. Being bored with what you're doing is no way to live. The current regime certainly doesn't help with this feeling of yuck, either.
Cool! That's got to be exciting for you. Really neat!
Thanks SeΓ‘n. We all can use some encouragement in this world that we're currently making our way through. A little kindness goes a long way.
I'll be driving up to Wonderfest this year from Florida, and I'm saving up Storytime until then. I've listened to the first episode, and it was amazing. I'm looking forward to hearing more!
Haha! Iβm guilty of that on occasion too. Love my toys. π
Amazing remix, Mark! I played it for the wife and she loved it too. Well done!
Unfortunately, Generations is one of my least favorite Star Trek films. It has giant plot holes all over the place, and it's depressing as can be. They kill Picard's family, the Enterprise D, and Kirk all in the same 2 hour span. When I saw it in theaters, I left depressed.
I built up the Round2 version, and used pink as the base color. My wife still says that's not the proper color. This is vindication! π
Weβre watching right now!!
Still the best 1/537 Refit I've ever seen. Kudos!
Don Jrβs little Coke snorting nose would be busted for sure!
