Learning gutair 20 years after I bought it has been a spiritual journey, in a way.

I couldn't play 20 years ago, I found out. I ruined my hands, too many years of martial arts and street fights. I've spent most of my time teaching myself gutair trying to tend to my hands, which hasn't been easy.

It's very dissociating to look back in all the sitcoms and shows I watched as a kid, and realizing how many characters had backstories that were textbook CPTSD.
