The grip feels slightly too long to me, likely because it's not a perfect 1/4 of the ov. length but slightly longer.

I spent 3 hours yesterday to blanch 500g of pistachios, and it took me a whole day and night to dehydrate them back.

I doubt it would break. The spike things are quite thiick and strong. It would hold up well against another blade.
They'd be very effective against the slim blades of rapiers, but still provide some good parrying and parrying to broader bladed swords.
A super interesting Parrying Dagger from around 1600.
It has some very uniquely shaped "sword breaker" chiseling at the base.
This blade just looks so cool in my opinion!
