I feel like a lot of people who didn’t know dick about erotica, esp BDSM erotica, came out of the woodwork to pick on one of the few mainstream stories that targeted *women’s* sexual fantasies instead of men’s.
You know, looking back, my problem with the backlash against Fifty Shades of Gray is that it got mad at porn for not being an instruction manual. Which porn shouldn’t be used for, anyway.

We need to separate Jews from the gov of Israel in critiquing this war with Iran. By saying that fighting Ayatollah Khamenei is fighting Haman, linking the war to Purim, the ADL is actively effacing that difference. Not only are they not effectively fighting antisemitism; they're making it worse.
