What a spectacular sight - I had spent sunrise on the southern end of the Lawley and came across this view as I was heading back down the hill. My eye was caught by the inviting footpath along the top of the ridge, and the contrast in colours between the sweeping slopes and the... #Shropshire

It was misty monochrome on #stiperstones in #shropshire in search of #uksnow. Only at the highest elevations was it powdery, otherwise wet and sticky and quite slippy!

Hopesay

A pony looks me in the eye on Hopesay Common, near Craven Arms. The colour of his coat echoes the snow-capped summit of Heath Mynd, which can be seen in the distance. I managed to get off a couple of frames before it lost interest in me and returned to grazing. #Shropshire

The Lawley

There's no way I was going to pass up the chance to make the most of the sunshine we had on Saturday, so I was out of the house first thing. Forty minutes later and I was making my way along the ridge of the Lawley on what was a dark and decidedly cold walk. #Shropshire
