Enjoying season 2 of Percy Jackson, but I couldn’t help notice that Matt Gaetz is in a role as a douchebag demigod Tantalus. At least he isn’t in the Pentagon briefing room posing as a legit journalist.

It is in my classroom library and I am starting out the year with a unit about executive order 9066. I’m sure students might make many connections with today’s current events as well. Thank you Mr. Takei for your courage.

Having fun being “Pops” bring in Molly’s class today. She started by carrying around two big bags. I said she looks like a teacher. That led to her getting a book, finding her “reading chair”, and reading to me while remembering to show pictures to her class. I did get to sing a few songs also!

#eduducttape I’ve been catching up with my favorite Ohioian on his podcasts. My goal is to learn about AI and being a better teacher as I wrap up year 29. No better time to be a lifelong learner.
