Oh fact REAPER is WinRAR-ish...
REAPER, among DAWs, it's in a pretty good performance-price ratio tbh.
Proprietary software, pretty lightweight thing, includes basic effect stuffs (free) and even support extensions and allow you to script your own stuffs w/ lua.
Making music on Arch (Linux) is something xD!
