I went through a similar story to a lesser degree in my younger 20’s, except I was able to rehabilitate in 3 years. Seeking professional help was expensive, many doctors won’t help, therapy is expensive. Doctors are even discouraged from helping because of insurance fights and limitations.

No this is good for people to see, a CEO’s only responsibility is to themselves and their shareholders, even if their interests are at odds with the wellbeing of their customers, economy, humanity, etc. Healthcare is an inelastic demand and shouldn’t be a “market” for them to wield and extract from.
