On a separate note, I took those last week and I really like them βΊοΈ
I spent the last 5 years preaching environmental sustainability in tech, yet my morale is questioned.
Sure, I could choose to continue working in TFG but made this choice instead. Does that make me a bad person? Or does that make me a human?
Let's be serious for a moment, blade runner is NOT happening. Not now, not ever.
My voice, and every other individual's voice is important in the space of AI.
Imo, I'd rather be in the middle of pushing the boundaries of what tech can do than looking from the outside.
..the response I got was "I'm trying to convince myself" and that "their voice" is important in this field.
Is mine not? Am I doing something evil by working cutting edge technology and pushing boundaries of what humanoid robots can do?
So I was asked about how "good" the company I work for is. Realising that humanoid robotics and AI are often automatically perceived as a bad thing I took my time to answer the question with as much detail and consideration as possible..

The one thing they don't tell you about therapy is HOW MUCH MORE YOU SLEEP. Cortisol leaving my body the same way as everyone leaving twitter the day Elon took over.
