Is it possible for #coyotes and humans to co-exist?
Wildlife rehabilitators think so.
In our latest #blog, we explain coyote behaviour (they really aren’t stalking you) and share tips on steps you can take to keep coyotes at bay.

🦊A rare admission last week: a fox with severe mange. This mite caused condition leads to hair loss, painful skin, and makes it hard to stay warm or hunt.

Happy #WorldWildlifeDay! We are celebrating the power of #MedicinalAromaticPlants. Our Garden Gang grows a natural pharmacy for wildlife in care. Monarchs rely on milkweed to help protect their young, and some birds use conifer needles to limit microbes. Nature knows best.Β #WWD2026

In our experience:
🐺 Coyotes respect boundaries.
🐺 They’re not as aggressive as some people think.
🐺 They’re less dangerous to handle than squirrels.

So why is it open season on coyotes across Canada and the United States? πŸ‘‡

Happy #SquirrelAppreciationDay! Squirrels may be small and a little nutty, but they play an important role in our ecosystems. The seeds and nuts they bury help grow the forests of tomorrow. Take a moment today to appreciate all they do for nature!
