I deal with a lot of anxiety and depression. My inner critic has had too many negative things to say these last few weeks and seems louder than ever, like everyone hates me, I’m not good enough, I should give up trying to put my writing out there and blah, blah, blah. I know these things are dumb noise and aren't true, and I'd never fuckin quit, but sometimes it's legitimately hard to combat those thoughts. It's like half my battle with being a writer. The only way I've figured out how to put up a decent fight against that is to just keep writing and creating, especially if I don't feel like doing that at all. Now I have a newly complete ten page comic and a script for a Halloween anthology out of that; both are horror too and a completely different vibe than Superguy, which of course I'm also working on more scripts for. I'm open to work on more projects too if that rare opportunity of someone needing a writer comes along! ✌️
