It showed up in this week's quiz.
Facts have a liberal bias.
The US is basically an insurance program with a standing army.
OMFG, when apparatchik Roger Williams represented a chunk of Austin it was the worst. I had to reach out to their office and the whole attitude is "we know this is our job but we really don't want govt to work for you." 180 deg different w/Doggett and @gregcasar.bsky.social.
This is Bradley Cooper in Nightmare Alley.
My 9yo grandmother watched her mother die of it, as she tended the other sick from her Hill Country church.
It's not "fighting" that's going to win a statewide race for Dems in TX but a combination of platform, organizing, and turnout. "Fighting" supports all three, but what are the platform planks she's fighting on that'll get people off their couches and supporting her?
Again @actblueorg.bsky.social could stop this with a universal "Do Not Solicit" flag or not let these scam PACs message with one name and cash checks with another, but then they wouldn't get paid.
Here's one that's called "No Kings PAC" (ACTBLUE*NO.KINGS.PAC) (secure.actblue.com/donate/mc_nk...) but looks like it's originally the "Stop Elon Musk PAC". Who knows where the shell game name ends.
@actblueorg.bsky.social , @actionnetwork.bsky.social and other platforms could stop this but they don't, they'd rather take their vig while they support senior scamming.
The scam PACs do end runs around the reporting systems. If you report phone#1, they respond from phone#2, if you report that, they respond from phone#3, and so on until you quit. Then they message you from the last phone# that successfully landed until you start it again.
Report them how? My 85yo parents have already sent them money (and to other dem scam PACs too).
Isn't that the platform they ran on?
So we found out today in San Francisco that autonomous cars don't work in a blackout (Waymos shut down, wherever they were, all over city)
Participating in live experiments is fun! I still wish I'd been asked beforehand. But it is pretty wild and kind of cool to see them discover their edge cases.
"Officer, I was complying with the Spirit of the Speed Limit."
@bradleywhitford.bsky.social must have a kid in school how hard he's been hustling. Handmaid's tale, Death By Lightning, and Diplomat.
When Joe Ely and Bruce Springsteen jammed on one of Joe's songs. The video quality isn't the best but the sound is pretty great.

I have stumbled on the plains
Staggered in the wind
Stood at a crossroad or two
Cried to a river
Swept to the sea
All just to get to you
I read that "Reiner either made your favorite movie, or your friend's favorite movie."

[stares in Texan]
Kids used to die from getting stuck inside old freezers left in landfills, lots, etc. Capitalists testified to Congress "there's nothing we can do". Congress said "F U, fix it", and passed laws and it got fixed. Capitalists need regs, they'll kill their customers, employees, bystanders, etc.
Texas democrats are more like 46% of the state.
"We audit financial markets. We should audit attention markets too."
"Which people?" one might ask.

Last time I ate at Panera my soup had a plastic corner from the big bags that they transport the soup on. Blech.
