Me and my camera revisited the stream where my ancestors built a saw mill 300 years ago. That was the start of the city Kramfors, where I grew up. I whish they would have had a camera back then to show us what it looked like at the time.

Ett träd i intensiva höstfärger
I found this lovely tree on a trip to southern Sweden. Pure autumn love🍁😊
Beautiful image!✨ Where in Spain is this place?
I love to capture images of Church buildings in Sweden. Many of them are spectacular! This is the chapel in Vivstavarv captured with my infrared camera.
Visited the ”art museum” of our ancestors in mid-Sweden. Their 8000 years old rock carvings show that elks was very important in their world.
I visited the octagonal church in Själevad, Sweden, where my GGGGGGGGGGG Grandfather was the vicar in the late 1500s. Captured this image with my infrared camera.
Soothing pastel colours tonight at the High Coast of Sweden. #Knivsjömalen
Beautiful image! Is this in Europe or in the American south west?
I’m glad you liked it🙏😊
Genetic genealogy on Netflix! A new mini series based on when I solved the Linköping double murder in Sweden.
The actor acting as me portrays a real genealogy nerd😅
The series is low-key but picks upp speed when the star - the genealogist - enters at the end of episode two😊
Early winter in Sweden. Lake Åre acting as a mirror.
Testing your relatives is great for catching more DNA from your ancestors. But gifting DNA tests for Christmas is NOT the way to do it.
Very cold to capture this icy shore in the High Coast of Sweden. But this beauty was definitely worth the pain in my frozen fingers.
I found this cold gem resting on the sea ice. I felt like entering a new universe. #highcoastofsweden
Cold morning here in Sweden created cool art on our old window panes
Pure coincidence. Found a microfilm machine at the library, wanted to check it out. Happened to see my grandfathers birth record. Traced lines all day - they had to throw me out when library closed😅
It’s been a fascinating journey to today when I am an honorary Doctor for my genetic genealogy work😊
A second dag of presenting at the genealogy conference in Oslo. This time about how to expose fake family trees with the help of Y-DNA. Always great to meet the nice Norwegian genealogists😊
Presenting in Oslo today and emphasizing the value of American DNA matches when identifying unknown parents in Scandinavia. They are often like laser beams with a single root where the DNA could have come from.
Finally ended my account on the infested Twitter. Blue skies to you all!☀️
Hello world! Finally joined (11/13/2024) and looking forward to connecting with all of my friends and colleagues!
Welcome to nice and peaceful Blue Sky😊
Welcome here from a daily Halide and Kino user!😊
Just returned from recording genealogy TV in the midnight sun of northern Norway☀️😊
I’ve just spent a week in Arizona and New Mexico with my camera. I was lucky to capture the magical Monument Valley under a full moon.
Alltså, en språkfråga som håller mig vaken om nätterna (typ):
Om person A blir sviken av person B, så är A den svikne och B är svikaren. Inga problem.
Men om A blir besviken på B, så är A den besvikne, vad är B då? Besvikaren?!?🤔 Låter inte språkligt vettigt… Hjälp!😅
There are few places as beautiful as the High Coast of Sweden. Happy to live here, so close to the endless photo op's.
I love my infrared camera :-) This is Djurgårdsbrunnskanalen in Stockholm.
Longing for spring and to be able to catch more abstract spring green images, like these birch trees that I captured in the High Coast of Sweden.
