Ravens fans will be the first to say that Lamar masks a lot of the OL deficiencies.

And when they don't you know they're ill.
And the top right was the last quadrant I'd thought to find them.
Their next opponents are SF who's fighting for their season, LAR who's fighting for their season, and red hot DET. This stretch will be determinative I think.
Which makes it a bit of a tough spot for Allen too because best team by record would be Mahomes assuming the current trajectory. And he did have a head-to-head blowout loss in prime time to Lamar where he didn't do much to help his team out. Kind of a muddy picture right now.
Just going to add, if Lamar gets 4k passing and 1k rushing it's hard to not consider him as frontrunner because he's going to be the first QB to achieve that if I recall. Willing to be corrected.
If Lamar gets 4k passing, 1k rushing, and 40 TD he'll have the stats to be the frontrunner. But Ravens will need to win the division. MVP is a narrative award and right now Allen has all the momentum in "slaying the undefeated giant." The next few games will be crucial for him to keep it going.
Ah got it. Thank you.
The media has been showing the stats of him 1-3 against PIT nonstop. Are they counting a game he didn't start?
If there's pressure Harbaugh is going to feel it as well, right? Since the buck stops with him with coaching hires?
Feel kinda sorry for that one Bengals fan they kept showing at the end.
Have you watched this week's Wired episode? Even our own players were saying: "throw it away, throw it away, okay be you, be Lamar!"
Of yeah I've learned real quick where the landmines are and avoid them at all costs to protect my sanity and enjoy and celebrate greatness.
Thank you! Although I got so emotionally invested so quickly and deeply that I've been telling folks that some days I wish I could go back to being a casual. The narratives and chatter are at times so triggering for me, the hate and disrespect that Lamar and the Ravens get.
Does Watt not play on the other side at all?
Wow I didn't know that. I only very recently started following the Ravens closely, was more of a casual fan before.
She explained downthread that the Ravens pick was more because of Lamar than the fanbase. Which in a way is amazing to hear, feels like she empathizes with how hard he's worked to overcome all the adversity and keeps improving his game.
What a treat to get both the regency and the modern versions LOL.
It's so funny - there's no other novel I love more than Pride and Prejudice. I watched Bridget Jones' Diary and thought: "Wow this man would be perfect as Fitzwilliam Darcy!" Little did I know... (I didn't know about BBC Pride and Prejudice then!)
We truly appreciate you, Mina!
I've been on here for a while but never posted and never really engaged because so few from the flock are here. Seeing some migrations recently.
