Even when she sleeps, this cat is chaos personified.

Trying something new today, tilting my Cintiq flat and trying to draw standing up.

I’ve been working as vertical as possible to avoid tech-neck, so maybe not the best position to hold for a long time, but I’m seeing if I can switch positions through the day to avoid issues from staying in one spot.

I will say I know most every song on that list from high school dances, including the Clash.

There are two or thee songs that aren’t ringing a bell, but Where Is My Mind is the only one that I did a double take. Alternative 80’s kid but I never heard the pixies until around the breakup in 92!

I did the QR code on my last bookmark. Goes to a page on my website that mimics a linktree page. Any time I want to change, add, or delete a link, or put say a banner for the latest active Kickstarter at the top I can do that without changing the QR code.

I’ll never run out of my last one, but for the last bookmarks I did for my last Kickstarter I did a QR code on the back that leads to a page on my website with all my links/socials. I basically copied the look and format of a linktree page. I can update links but QR remains the same.

I’ve been meaning to look that one up. Haven’t seen it since a sleepover movie night in the 80’s.

I do that with backgrounds. I’ll extend the perspective grid out way beyond the page (before digital I’d tape 11x17 paper to the edges of the page) just to make sure it all works, all for one panel of a six panel grid.

I’ve run into that a few times. It’s such a bizarre attitude, like trying out an artists technique or tools will steal their mojo.

I love talking tools, art and music. I wish there were “rig rundowns” for comic artists.
