Like you can not like trans people or even find them disgusting but their existence is a sign that you live in a safe and free society. I think that's the approach that needs to be taken because put bluntly, cis people by and large aren't empathetic.

I'll just say I don't think most cis people care if trans people exist or not because they don't think "they'll" ever be the trans people or the muslims of the day. They don't see how this advances to the point that you get even straight cis white guys shot by the state to the sound of crickets.

Problem is you say that and your average dude gets scared that you're refering to their 90k a year aspirational job and bug the fuck out.
