A man & a dog. Come for pictures of Wilbur 🐢, stay for #Pittsburgh Sports, #mufc musings and general randomness. Ex-weatherdude. Completely preposterous, but absolutely human. Native of Manchester, now in the Democratic People's Republic of Bromsgrove.

The BBC are really going out of their way to not call these The Peter Files.

I've been thinking about this, if you were buying shoes for someone (and I'll blow past how strange elements of that are), don't you think you'd ask them their shoe size instead of just....guessing?

He looks like when you were a kid and you tried your dad's shoes on and clomped around in them πŸ˜‚

there was also a Stanford study that found that a surge in AI slop by lazy people actually created significantly more work for others who had to decipher and correct it

this "I'm being efficient" (but not really) vibes well with the American obsession with artifice and appearing productive

I know it’s Cheltenham week too, but Mr Marvis would do a roaring trade if they set up shop here.

I’m working in the main building on campus today and the count of middle aged men in pastel shaded or bright red trousers is already in double digits.

Fun fact. The most southerly point of mainland Britain isn't Lands End, it's Lizard Point.

This is really neat πŸ™‚

I once went to Cornwall to work at an RNAS down there and they put me up in a hotel with the thickest, heaviest blackout curtains imaginable. Why? Because without them, every few seconds the Lizard Point Lighthouse would light the room up πŸ˜‚

I've only ever flown Ryanair once. If I can't get to a place without using them, I'll just go elsewhere.

This is how you take on the big companies, not by fining them as they just see fines as the cost of doing business and factor that in, but by stopping them like this.

A label printing joke.

I've shared this before, but it always makes me laugh. The pettiness of the joke.

3-2 at the break, but you know that Littler's stamina is better. It's a brutal schedule with three games in a day where you have to win 32 legs to take the title.
