Well, now I need to check this out!
Well, now I need to check this out!
I'm thinking some chili and cheese, myself.
Genghis Con is pretty great - back when I was younger and had more time, my wife and I were involved with running games there, and had a great time. As far as I can see, the new owners have been doing a great job with the con.
I just backed Rust Wings on @kickstarter.com www.kickstarter.com/projects/wat... How had I not heard of this before? #ttrpg #rpg
Right!
Well, my kid is really into the Good Place right now, and what better way to enjoy The Good Place than to make The Brick Place?

Good points! But also, I'd really love a Spider-Gwen sort of movie, again without the multiverse. I see that they're already setting up a Spider Noir tv show through Amazon, which is also a good step.
That's what I was going to post! :)
In case you're wondering what 14 year old kids are doing these days, mine is enjoying the day off watching the third season of The Good Place while working on cosplay.
You did write for the Little Fuzzy franchise, which isn't your own, too. :)

3. Honestly, it's probably got more to do with the type of adventure you set up than the game system itself, although something with long-running combat will probably not work great. One shots should generally have clear goals that the pregens want to work towards, with bounded areas of adventure.
2. Savage Worlds has worked well in this timeframe before. Pay attention to make sure the characters can handle the opposition you set up, and they can get through an adventure pretty smoothly.
1. Call of Cthulhu, especially with a focused plot, can work fine in this timeframe. Haunted Houses, for instance, can be a lot of fun here, although I fondly remember a Haunted Chinese Buffet from an RPGA adventure.
Could be dolphins are npcs (or pcs!) in your group. Could be space aliens pretending to be dolphins to lull your suspicions! Could be playing a game based off of John Scalzi's Starter Villain.

If you play ANY flavour of Lovecraftian TTRPG you really should have Bayt al-Azif on your gaming shelf. Issues come along occasionally, and each is a small perfect miracle whose arrival is worth celebrating.
(And yes, I do have an article in it, but it's the other stuff that makes it a must-buy)
My cat Paisley, curled up in a disc of cat.
I found this out because it was part of the plot of a mystery I read. Also, here is Paisley.
Oh heck yeah. As a widower, it was amazing the areas I had to learn how to step up and handle things that before I didn't. Among other things, I didn't really cook much before - partially because Tammy really enjoyed cooking and wanted to do it. And that's on top of raising a child!
I just backed Mike Grell's JON SABLE Remastered Hardcover Volume 3 on @kickstarter.com www.kickstarter.com/projects/mik... I'm a big fan of Mike Grell's, and I am happy with the first two volumes I've already gotten from him.
