the order afterwards for me to be truly prophetic would need to be:
upper brinstar (super metroid)
smash bros brawl? (main theme)
mario kart wii (thwomp desert)
spirit tracks (in the fields)
xenoblade 2? (torna battle)
donkey kong country returns or tropical freeze (bonus room blitz)
autumn mountain battle got added a few weeks ago
mount magmeow just got added
super metroid ost incoming soon confirmed
sure nintendo. i'll get the bowser water. you win.
still think bambrella with screen would be so funny since you can launch shields from behind the screen which move faster than the screen resulting in weirdly more mixup options than any other weapon
not happening because of sunder and would still suck because screen sucks but it would be cool
I have two answers:
Remove .52 gal because who would miss it, similar options with more team synergy are right there
Remove armor from Splatoon 2 just to watch everyone go back to play it with entirely different weapons being way more viable
You get to remove one weapon (main sub or special) from Splatoon. What are you picking and why?
Thought this was a joke post for a few seconds before I remembered this was a real title that was showcased
I still think a lot of the Splatoon 1 glazers/Splatoon 2 haters would hate S1 if they had to play it for 6 years and developed the endgame meta more
Would it be worse than S2? Idk, but S1 hasn't developed in meta since 2017 because no individual player can influence the collective mindset anymore
A game's active lifetime affecting meta is one of the most underrated talking points of competitive games. Meta shifts require a collective effort and developments independent from patches
Smash Ultimate at year 4 vs 7, Splatoon 2 at year 4 vs 6, Melee's shifts with time, etc.
I guess it's not technically entirely algorithmic but relevant is, shorts are no longer sorted by release, and I kinda wish they handled livestreams differently than just putting them at the top because it makes accessing other videos more annoying
where's the chrome extension to make the sub box (what I click to AVOID the algorithm) not have the ENTIRE first page be algorithmic recommendations anymore
Seattle experience is staying up until 4am for an astronomical event that I can't even see because there are STUPID CLOUDS IN THE WAY
The financial success of this game is already pretty much guaranteed but for how many reviews say "we'll be talking about this when GOTY discussions happen" we really know nothing about the staying power of this game
Genuinely reading the reviews it's hard to tell how much of the game these critics played, and I'm sure they're all time limited and probably didn't play it all the way through
Animal Crossing/Stardew fans will show us the true longevity of the systems in the game and how to maybe break the systems
I do not trust the video game critics to tell me if Pokopia is good. I will wait for the women on BlueSky to play the game and let us know after a month if it's up to their standards
Growing up I always misheard the lyrics as "You change your mind like a girl, change your clothes" and "You know, I wish that I was Jesse's girl" and I think this made the existence of trans people not shocking when I learned about them
In this video essay I will explain how representation is good
ATTENTION!
Are you heading to the Seattle PokΓ©mon Regionals this weekend? If so, Iβll be there Saturday (2/28) to work on a video!
Iβm aiming to complete the FRLG Pokedex solely through trading. And if you trade me something specific (namely starters, Legendary, & trade evolution) you get a prize!
Pain is realizing I actually kinda want to play some of those enhanced Wii U ports Nintendo pumped out in like 2018/2019 and yet because it's Nintendo the games are still always $60 7 years later and even used prices stay high
I also refuse to listen to the rest of the Origami King soundtrack because if this one random battle song is so good I want to experience the rest of the soundtrack organically by playing the game
Nintendo Music made a big mistake uploading the Origami King soundtrack because now I refuse to use the app for anything besides listening to Autumn Mountain Battle
I haven't done it since before caves and cliffs because it's both less efficient and less fun than running around in caves, and even before caves and cliffs I didn't fully rely on it
Probably above end busting but like what's the point in doing it these days
I'm sure there are more thorough explanations in comics or something that could allow this to happen but the films just don't work whenever there's a slightly complex scientific idea, or at least the idea feels wasted being held by Marvel copyright
"if you go too small you'll go subatomic"
that's not how that WORKS if you're just messing with spacing
*grows toy vehicles into the size of regular ones which do the same amount of damage*
either whoever played with these are hella strong or these should weigh grams
"This particle exists that can change the space between atoms"
ok cool
"if you punch it'll still be the force of a man's punch concentrated down so it's like a bullet"
true true
*scenes involve him standing on ants people and toys, hitting people with regular punches and not tearing skin*
wuh
Been watching the modern Marvel movies and there's a lot of BS science that exists for the plot of these films... which is ok. They're about the spectacle and superheroes and whatnot
But I made it to Ant Man and it doesn't even try to be internally consistent in that movie it's crazy
epic mario club remix
Deep Dark has some cool elements but all of them start with that initial battle of figuring out how to get in and sneaking around and neutralizing all the shriekers without random things screwing you over
And ultimately Swift Sneak is the only unique thing that's really worth it?
as long as you're exploring caves and not strip mining yeah
