You are not a radical leftist and you have no business in radical leftist spaces if you involve cops and civil courts in your disagreements.
Critiquing power doesn't give you a free pass to weaponize it against someone. It makes it worse, because you intimately know the harm.
Transactional Intercourse copies are ready! Official publication is April 27th for those who want to pre-order: mxjackparker.bigcartel.com/product/pre-...
I can't believe I have a copy in my hands and am hyped to send out books to all those who crowdfunded for it!
"the more he thrusts into you, the more you wish you had not come here. You are wondering now about his interior life, this private perversion he keeps from his family. Because why else is he fucking a transexual woman decades younger than him?"
"Life as an asylum seeker exposed me to the vulnerability of surviving as a sex worker to meet my daily needs."
"[freaky4t]: I want to be him so bad princess. Is he your boyfriend or just someone youβre filming with today?
[mrk5682]: omg finally.
[nihilistdan]: trans girls always date these really macho guys. he probably plays sports or something too
nihilistdan tipped 169 tokens"
"Even those who pay lip service to the idea that trans men are men and trans women are women will see me as distinctly less of a man than a cis one. Once they are aware that I sell sex, this effect is magnified."
"Being intersex, African, and a sex worker means living at the collision of worlds that rarely acknowledge each other."
"Some clients treated me like a mystery they wanted to solve. Others turned me into a fetish, using words like "exotic," "special," or "rare". They turned my body into a spectacle as something to be consumed, not understood. They wanted the fantasy of my difference but never the truth of it."
"I grew up in a community of sex workers, queers, and outcasts. I was raised by my disabled sex worker mother and my step-dad Dima who taught me survival, loyalty, and the tricks you can play to get to live more freely."
Some short snippets from different contributions to give you a taste if you're interested!
"Letting one other man inside me paid for several months of testosterone gel."
"Trans and Intersex Sex Worker Anthology" a picture of a copy of the Transactional Intercourse book over a dark red curtain, surrounded by neon writing. "30 writers included." "Essays and personal stories." "Thoughts on Fetishization" "Diverse contributors" "Intersectional Analysis" and "Learn about the lives of trans and intersex sex workers"
Transactional Intercourse is now complete and people who supported the project early are getting their copies! If you'd like one for yourself, you can pre-order here to get your book on April 27th (publication day):

β¨OUR CROWDFUNDER IS LIVE! β¨
The Peopleβs Letters is crowdfunding to help sustain our worker-owned cooperative bookshop and community space rooted in solidarity.
Please support or share if you can!

If you're in the UK then I highly recommend the zine tier, which is well worth it for the zines and art prints alone by our resident artist.
... and you can feel confident your money is going to paying working class people's wages instead of lining bosses pockets. ;)
A poster about The People's Letters Patreon, showing: The Bookseller's Letters tier which includes reviews and a free copy of Working Guys, The Eventful Letters tier offering 2 event passes plus the lower tier benefits, The Posted Letters which includes art prints and zines, and The Whole Alphabet tier which gets you everything!
If you've ever thought about getting an e-book copy of Working Guys: A Transmasculine Sex Worker Anthology, you can get it for the same price as elsewhere by subscribing to www.patreon.com/peoplesletters lowest tier!
We're a worker co-op bookshop with a radical leftist ethos who could use support.
A tale of union-busting, desperation to take a break from sex work, and a hostile work environment.
"When the place is run together with the people who need the work, you can't take sole credit for the project continuing to employ them, can you?"

I go to bed before midnight now and I get up between 6 and 8 AM. That's unfathomable to me, as someone who has had chronic insomnia my entire life, but it's true. Baby exhausts me enough in the day that I can sleep at night and sleeps enough hours for me to be okay!
[Do not read this if you're also a new parent because you will hate me!]
I'm sleeping more hours, on a better schedule, than I did before having my baby. Way better than during pregnancy, but also better than *before* I was pregnant.
Baby sleeps between 6.5 and 9 hours uninterrupted per night!
Plus, hint hint nudge nudge, there are some additional excerpts, quotes, sneak peek, and a few author bios from the TRANSactional Intercourse anthology posted to the most recent Kickstarter update: www.kickstarter.com/projects/mxj...
How many of you will be able to guess which excerpt is from me? π€
I'm so eagerly awaiting the publication of this anthologyβand beside myself for the opportunity to share one of my own stories in it!
Also, in case you question how cool @mxjackparker.bsky.social is, when I asked to be compensated in crypto, despite having no experience with it he did exactly thatβ£οΈ
If you want an early copy, you can still pre-order through Kickstarter until it closes in the first week of January - and you can check out the most recent update for more snippets!

"In these relationships, stigma doesnβt announce itself with slurs. It whispers. It hides in well-meaning words - in βI donβt even think of you as trans,β as if that were a kindness, as if my womanhood needed purification from its history."
"To be intersex, autistic, and a sex worker in a society that worships normalcy is to live with overlapping hauntings."
"Our family wasnβt destroyed by sex work. It was destroyed by hatred of sex workers."
Almost all of the contributors to Transactional Intercourse, a trans and intersex sex worker anthology, have sent in their pieces and the editing is well underway! It will soon be complete and anyone who backed via Kickstarter will get it in February (broader publication to happen in April).

We're fully funded and I am so so grateful to get to make this anthology, only going bigger and better and paying more sex workers than with projects before.
If you'd like to add extra support before the end of the Kickstarter, you've got 4 hours left!

That's really sweet to hear, I love that the work is getting out there!
Many of the contributors to Working Guys did this and wrote about it! workingguys.carrd.co
Additionally, I wrote a piece about my experience of it for THORN (Trans Hooker Resistance Movement), available free here: jackviolet.com/2025/08/21/t...
