Another HUGE difference is that Icelandic publishers NEVER TALK ABOUT BOOKS THAT AREN’T OUT.
They say Icelanders will just get mad if they see an ad for - or read a review about - something they can’t get in a store yet. So they treat books like a secret, until they are out on shelves.

Helmsley Castle by Samuel Bough (1822–1878). He was born in Carlisle to a poor family, but one who encouraged his interest in art. He is best known as a painter of maritime scenes. The castle offers a comprehensive chronicle of construction spanning from the 12th to the 16th centuries.
