There’s an indifference felt towards me now, and it’s awkward.

I’m proud though of how we both act with respect towards each other, and I’m proud of how I’m healing myself.

Today is a crying day though, after many days of not, today is just an ugly cry day, and that’s okay. ❤️‍🩹

It’s such a funny thing having to/getting to experience yourself outside of something you were defined in for so long.

It’s both bittersweet and beautiful. And although we co-parent very well, it’s weird feeling like a complete stranger to someone who was my best and closest friend.

I’m really proud of what we wrote, and it was cool seeing the things I brought to the table that expanded off of the style they’ve presented in the first two singles.

I was a little nervous going in, but everyone worked so well together, and it was super comfortable and welcoming of ideas.

I’m playing in a band again and it has brought so much energy and creativity back into my soul that I didn’t know was missing.

On Wednesday I got to be a part of my first writing & recording session (they’re new, but already had 2 songs out before I was asked to join)

Currently adventuring in Budapest.

Even though I have been back to workouts again, today felt especially powerful, standing in the very spot that I had a seizure, now 6 months separated.

I am also officially allowed to drive in my state again, which is exciting!

I had a lot of special people stand alongside and support me when I felt at my worst, and I’m incredibly thankful for that.

I’ve been back to working out, I’ve gone to a 3 day long music festival, I’ve traveled, and had good times with friends and family.

Every once in awhile I will have an actual dream that one is creeping up on me again, but those have faded with time.

I’m super happy to be at this point and far enough separated, where the fog has lifted and I feel like myself inside of my body again as much as one can.

As of today, it has officially been 6 months since the bonkers & terrifying morning that I had my (first & only) seizure while in the middle of a normal workout.

At this point, it honestly feels super surreal and like it was just a bad dream.

All these multitudes of feelings resonate a lot ❤️‍🩹
