I like Slunberland's description of this - dark jangle. Fits it perfectly.
Laurel Heights is pure jangle heaven!
Nice one. Thanks!
Oh that’s interesting! I presumed they definitely weren’t popular outside of the US. I remember reading in a book about The Doors that Jim Morrison aspired to be as big as Love. The book kinda portrayed that as a lack of ambition/low expectations.
I love these articles. Indeed, all your articles. I have a question/suggestion - in my mind Love are talked about in similar terms. I’d love to know if they were actually popular/successful at the time.
How do you know they haven't? In-simulation characters would be unaware of it surely?
Sorry for your loss. I think I met your brother. At least I met someone who claimed to be your brother. Was working in Security. Was a nice big fella.
I actually wondered that as I was typing my first post. Good to know.
For a second, I thought you were referring to the band Squeeze! :D
Being chased by massive ants...
I've got good and bad news for you. There is! But it stinks. :(

Five thirty should have been massive. A few years later and they would have been.
Oh that is sweet!
You're like the Adam Curtis of music; finding these weird wee coincidences and synchronicities. :D
The Jesus and Mary Chain did some excellent remixes of this

What a line up!
What were you doing on her head?
Is it me you're looking for?
I've no idea what's going on there but I love it!
Can you really call it a UK tour if all the dates are in England?
"I'm a scummy twat and so is my mate"
To my eternal shame, I did not like this album at the time. I loved Liquidizer and Doubt so I'm not even sure why; it's not even that much of a departure from them. I rediscovered it years later and really rate it now.
"I've been a fake vegetarian for decades..."
"Sang about Glasgow. Didn't sing about Sweden. Jury is out. Likely 'not proven'" - brilliant!
Your right fare.
I bloody loved it! I think Stewart Lee should be a co-host on it though.
Hadn't heard of Balloon Balloon Balloon before. That is right up my street. Thanks for posting!
Maybe the aphantasia is what made you a great artist?
