Hey folks, we have a change of venue for the talk at Elevate Play 2026: The Grand Hyatt SF, 5 Embarcadero Center!
Looking forward to speaking on The Art and Science of Music for Games at GDC affiliate Elevate Play! next Tuesday March, 10 at 2:20 PM 717 Market St SF #ElevatePlay #GDC2026 #GamingInnovation #Networking #Leadership
IRS Guys is me, Present Outside is Clint, Nurse Edna is Clint, and there are a lot of Edison and Present Inside pieces, some Clint's and some mine - it's honestly hard to remember
Yes I did the track, but the melody is a traditional folk song called βgo tell aunt roadie (the old grey goose is dead).β The joke is that Stan is selling used coffins :)
Be sure to catch my interview with LucasArts musical legend @petermcconnell.bsky.social! iMuse, Monkey Island, Grim Fandango... so much amazing music!

Hello GameSoundCon! Looking forward to giving a little talk about game music composition, old and new, this afternoon!
Actually I think that might be Clint Bajakianβs tune.
I donβt remember making that soundtrack CD, but I did have a K2000 in my own studio starting around 1992
They seem like pretty good guesses. I have to listen to know for sure, and even then itβs been a long time. One thing I can say: Michael wrote the bridge to the Largo music while I wrote the main part.
Well, itβs been so long. Also, there was just one song with many verses, perhaps split up later? My recollection is that Tommy wrote the music and lyrics (or perhaps the lyrics were written by the Dev team?), but there may have been some collaboration. Clint or Tommy might remember better.
Clint, Michael, Tommy Tallarico I and recorded a Chosen One song at Clintβs studio back in the day. The lead guy with the bad Scottish Accent is me
Is there a song about βThe Chosen Oneβ on it?
A close-up of the back of a Lighthouse with a green seabird perched on its roof. They are in a blue cave covered in surreal organic markings, and the Lighthouse is shining a beam of light through a portal-esque entryway which is surrounded by glowing eyes.
Happy #ScreenshotSaturday! The first one in September deserves a look, because it is...The Eyes.

Not yet, but believe me we will get to the bottom of it.
Missed this a while back. That's me, and the bridge is by Michael Land!
We get our second @petermcconnell.bsky.social track in a row for day 96 of #TheDiegeticShuffle: "Shake That Wampa Down" is another SWTOR jukebox song, this time with the big-band sound and instrumentation of traditional jizz. youtu.be/wCKwoo08Gc4?...
We've got another oldie but goodie from the South Sector Boppers for you on day 107 of #TheDiegeticShuffle: "Kayfoundo Naweea" means "Hungry Eyes" in Huttese, and no it's not an Eric Carmen cover but another Cabaret-style song from @petermcconnell.bsky.social. youtu.be/SORzg95CGcA?...
Pretty sure Clint did Phatt and I did Booty. I also did Guybrush's dive to the shipwreck, which was based on a traditional sea shanty called "Hullaballoo Belay."
My favorite GDC tradition, Thursday evening musician dinner, for the 16th time or so is in the books! Great seeing everyone! @petermcconnell.bsky.social @johnrobertmatz.bsky.social @nehapolitan.bsky.social @masonlieberman.com @grantkirkhope.bsky.social @kihre.bsky.social @jillianaversa.bsky.social
Yes you may be hearing Quantum Leap Brass and some Advanced Orchestra as well :)
None that I know of - but thanks for asking!

Jimmy's here in Heaven, and let me tell you, it's rare to meet someone who got the 'love thy neighbor' part so right.
My pleasure. Huge fan of your work. That score is righteous!
