Staff at a Twin Cities yarn store put together a pattern for a red knit “Melt the ICE” hat inspired by the Norwegian resistance.
They thought they would attract 10 people to a weekly knit-along.
They’ve sold 70,000 copies, raising more than $250k for immigrant aid groups.
The same old sentence wrapped in different words: look what you made me do. You pushed me. You deserved it. This is your fault. It’s the logic of abuse, a kind of moral alchemy that turns cruelty into consequence and makes a woman responsible for her own pain.

Picked up Alchemised by SenLinYu yesterday and started reading it last night. I like the plot and the direction it's going, but it feels more like I'm reading the second novel in a series where much of the world building has already taken place. This is their debut novel, but am I missing something?
