At least there was literally nothing else that could have been a better use of taxpayer money.

Over half a million sounds more like Hush Money than a severance payment to me.
It's been a long time, but I'm proud to announce that with support from both Valve and Ubisoft my team and I will be developing a Community Edition of #darkmessiah
In celebration, a bunch of releases, including Dark Messiah RTX: Lite Edition open alpha!

Very pleased to hear that.
Agreed except it's not gonna be cheap.
@tcgs.co they danced around it a bit, but I considered this announcement (and the embedded videos) to be tantamount to "the next Xbox console will play PC games" back in June 2025

Love seeing this kind of thing shared publicly. I had a quick read and it seems like a good contract.
Still, very happy to finally have #JusticeForWart
Lol they went to the effort of establishing a new non-stereotype catchphrase for Mario in the games....then just brought back "Mamma Mia" for the second movie?
I cannot believe how brazen this Palworld clone is store.steampowered.com/app/4358270/...
Happy to help. I've been following progress and sounds like things are moving in the right direction, but we'll both be sure to stay on it until you and family are sorted out.
Where's your computer gone?
They made it look more realistic, but reality has bad art direction.
And they have now emailed you.
I've passed your email address onto someone who is well placed to try and help you out. They'll be in touch shortly.
Adam Baldwin is involved in the Firefly revival?
Don't mind me, I'll just be over here rewatching FarScape again.
It's easy.

I want a weekly podcast where Simon and Trevor just talk about movies.
I don't think flip flopping is very smart. Pick a strategy and commit to it.
If they announce Saros is not coming to PC, I'll buy it on PS5. If they leave me guessing if it'll hit PC or not, I might just wait until it does.
I don't think it's realistic for a new studio make the next Fortnite.
But a new studio can make the next Lethal Company, Phasmophobia, Peak, Repo, Among Us etc.
That's still not *easy*, but you won't burn millions and millions and millions making a game that is shut down in a matter of weeks.
Armchair executive I know but I can't fathom how throwing the kind of money likely thrown at Highguard as a new IP and new studio was a decision anyone could make.
There are dozens of successful new IP multiplayer games from the last few years. They all started small and grew out.
Jim Carrey hasn't been cloned.
Andy Kaufman finally returned.
But widesceen? I'm open to it. Framerate boost? Not opposed to it, but it's not really necessary.
Some kind of CRT filter options? Would make sense.
I'm very curious what the different approaches might be best for anyone attempting a modern decomp port. So much of that game's appeal is tied to a very specific aesthetic. I wouldn't want to just max out the resolution and framerate, or "fix" all the texture warping.
Silent Hill is 99.74% decompiled. This is one of the most rapid decomps I've seen. It was at like 86% at the start of the year, under 25% 6 months ago, and only started about a year ago.
When Kier Starmer says "we all remember the mistakes of Iraq." He means in a "Those who can remember the past are well equipped to repeat it" kinda way.
