First post btw. Wahhh. Scary. Don't know if I have energy for another social media platform but a lot of people I like seem to like it here!
But she recently started nursery & barely needed settle time. She has jumped in: “you can go now mum, I want to play”. She’s turning into such a happy, kind, curious & confident wee thing and I don’t think I could be any prouder. Maybe us juggling mums need to feel a bit prouder of ourselves too.
I spend most nights tossing in bed feeling guilty and that I’m a terrible mum. That I’m not doing enough. That I spend a lot of Sundays working on my doctorate when I should be with my daughter. That I take on work projects that pull my attention away from my daughter. And on and on and on.
