We're trying something a little different today and making the instrumental version of the new Stereo Minus One album, The Acid Tape, available exclusively to our wonderful #Bandcamp subscribers. 1/6

Rather than a 'soundtrack to a film that doesn't exist' it's the soundtrack to a tape that actually does exist! 6/6
They later digitised the tape recording and put it online for free. No one knows who made the recording, but the tape contains their detailed narrative of a recent experience on LSD. This recording sparked the album. 5/6
Instrumental? Non-instrumental? Oh yes right. So we should explain that The Acid Tape is a soundtrack album, made to go with a found cassette recording from the early 1980s. The tape was picked up by someone in a garage sale years later who had no idea what they were buying. 4/6
The full album will be out in July, including the regular, _non_instrumental versions of all these tracks as well as the instrumental versions - a rather mammoth 24 tracks in total. This is like the second 'bonus' disc, metaphorically speaking. 3/6
