I haven’t been able to stop thinking about this quote from John Sloane Dickey:
“The world’s troubles are your troubles…and there is nothing wrong with the world that better human beings cannot fix.”
Every organization needs to publish a similar sentiment. We should support each other, our patients, and use our voices.
Fine dude, you won. You got us all scared. We’re all fearing our lives, jobs, and future. Good work. Is that what you want to hear?
In the meantime, where are the presidents of universities, senators and representatives, and other “leaders”?

If they cut Medicaid, Medicare, Dept of Education, NIH/CDC and most other grant opportunities, how does academic medicine continue? The only options I see are charging students and patients more or selling to private equity/industry. That isn’t good for anyone.
