Marchโs feast days continue - today is the Feast of St Constantine, a King of Kernow ใใ who gave up his throne, travelled to Ireland ๐ฎ๐ช thence to Scotland ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ and is remembered in Wales ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ท๓ ฌ๓ ณ๓ ฟ The feast was marked in St Merryn by eating limpet pies, holding a church service and having a hurling match.

On this day in 1999, South Crofty closed, ending 4,000 years of tin working in Kernow. The preceding day had seen very limited celebrations of St Piran.
Today, South Crofty is returning to tin production and yesterday marked the largest celebration yet of St Piran.
