Bluesky really brings me great joy at times.
Very late to the party for this final episode of @alexpodyssey.bsky.social amazing podcast. So entertaining, so thought-provoking and so great a bonus for fans of Natalie Haynes's books. open.spotify.com/episode/67sR...
People need to read Careless People.
That book really does show Zuckerbergβs descent to the right in such horrific detail and the weirdness of former COO Sheryl Sandberg. Itβs genuinely horrific.
Such a wonderfully written thread and a great showcase + clear explanation of the craftsmanship details π
The "Home" shirts by Nike worn by the Lionesses are such a great piece of merch; so perfectly contextual.
I absolutely adore how pretty much all cultures have their own version of dumplings.
Amorgos is great. More remote; lots of hiking types. Fantastic food. Long ferry ride from Athens tho (nearly 6hrs on the fast ferry) and keep an eye on the weather for the seas becoming very choppy. Best to rent a car while you're there for ease. Worth the walk up to the Monastery of Hozoviotissa.

This is the most brilliant podcast for making you think and in such an enjoyable manner. A must-listen for anyone who's fascinated by Greek mythology. Mega-bonus for discovering just how much Greek mythology underpins today, well beyond art. Have supported for a second series!
This is really shocking: and true. I discovered I'd just been upgraded without consent to an AI-enshittified package that was about Β£30 a year more expensive. Strongly recommend anyone who has an Office 365 follow the below advice to get rid of it

A bishop says βBut I didnβt do anythingβ. A priest replies βWell thatβs kind of the problemβ
This. This. This.
And that message carries across a huge range of circumstances.
I swear by this, just stir each time before you drink so it doesn't go sludgy odacite.com/blogs/toheal...
That's such a lovely thing you're doing. I'd suggest "You'll have 40+ working years to find your mΓ©tier. Plenty of time to try new things, change course and uncover paths that you didn't know could be for you. Sometimes, something might not be for you right now but could be right later."
Or maybe a snack mix?
Chuckled at my weather app telling me that the "wintry mix" will continue into the afternoon. What a catch-all phrase.
