I was reading an biography that described a man as having been "denied entry at Harvard, Yale and Oxford" and the lack of a second comma in that sentence makes a lot sense when you think about it.

Resident Evil 2 safe room music. To this day it plays in my head any time I see a big staircase.

When R2 tells you the best picture nominees
Poster that says "F1 the movie" with Brad Pitt standing around in a racing suit.
It's wild on so many levels that a movie with the subtitle "the movie" to clarify that it is in fact a movie, got nominated for best movie.
Cover art for "The Devil In The White City" by Erik Larson. A sepia toned photo of a shining white series of buildings around a water feature with black clouds in the sky.
Just finished The Devil In The White City. Holy shit a lot went down around the 1893 Chicago Worlds Fair. The story treats turn of the century architects like rockstars the way Oppenheimer did physicists. All while a serial killer is building a trap house. Non-fiction that feels unreal. Fascinating.
Me (10 years old): Here's why we should have chicken nuggets for dinner. In this essay...
A late era Genesis pack-in game. A pinball game where Sonic was the pinball which honestly was a great fit, made a lot of sense, and was fun to play. But everybody else I knew hated it.
What a wretched but interesting checklist.
Post a game that no one ever talks about:
It's weird that "Hiyah" is a chop exclusive sound. Nobody hiyah's for a punch.
"Gimme the uncle Leo"
The job's never done. (Mild spoilers: Resident Evil Requiem)

I love the RE series but RE7 also pushed me to the limited of my tension. The first half of this game felt like RE7, the second half felt like RE4. For me anyway.
I enjoyed my time playing, and think it's good (not as good as RE8), but it definitely tensed me up.
A screenshot from Resident Evil 9. Leon is pointing a gun past rusted out cars to the sign of a derelict store called "DENIM PAL". Which I would love to shop at.
Me: I wanna buy my jeans from someone kinder than a stranger, but not as close as a friend

Star Trek The Next Generation scene. Riker and Geordi, in uniforms red and gold, meet at a Enterprise corridor intersection. Riker is *very* tall. You don't always see it, but here facing and compared to Geordi, sheesh he's a tall drink of water. Anyways, his hair's a bit messy. Closed caption reads, "I'm having trouble waking up."
A Muslim friend recently asked me what Lent is. I described it as "like Ramadan but if no one took it seriously" and I feel like I nailed it.

A facebook post with the user info blacked out, but what remains is the tag "Ray-Ban Meta glasses". Which really just means they own the privacy invading, authoritarian techno state, pervert nightmare glasses used by loser like Mark Zuckerberg.
I know that they *think* it's good advertising, but the fact that meta labels any posts made using Mark Zuckerberg's pervert glasses is actually a great way for me to know who to never hang out with again.
The past 5 months I've gone though hell and back. I've fought the mob, infiltrated a military zone in a stolen plane, had my left eye cut out. But I got us that hour back. I just hope it's worth it.
The literal opposite. Still, probably worth staying up. Who's needs Sunday.
A picture from the Canadian Heritage Minute about basketball but instead of "I need those baskets back" he's saying "but I need that hour back"

Someone should make a different movie where a playwright abandons their family after a family tragedy & then their grief-stricken spouse attends the play and realizes it wasnβt worth it because the play is terrible
My wife is such a rule follower, the other day she saw me fill the blender past the "fill line" and she was absolutely shook.
She asked me to "think about what might happen before I do this" which felt like she was gonna call the cops.
A video game screenshot of a Resident Evil 9 cutscene. A military guy wearing what looks like 3 different night vision goggles. With the text "there's too much fucking shit on me"

PTT 840.85 MEMORY There's psychic gas mask guy. Minigun shaman guy. Weird chameleon guy. Cat guy - who's also a revolver guy, by the way. That's like two types of guy almost.
