That’s good to hear! And keep an eye out for changes in asylum rules. There an organization that’s trying to get carve outs for marginalized groups to claim asylum even if they’re in a “safe” 3rd country. I know it’s happening with the Dutch gov but hopefully it catches on with other countries.
It’s a potentially years long process. I just met with a refugee lawyer last week. There are like 4 different hearings including appeal if you need it.
So honestly you should go now if you can. I have loose ends to tie up but look at the fucks from the last 9 months.
