I have to back the bigwigs on this one….it would be akin to folks drinking Pepsi in the Coca Cola break room.
Play lots of games, yes….but do it at home/on your personal time.
OK, so I saw this awesome thing today and deemed it too good to not share. Check out this incredible Gaslands game table. (From the @planetsmashergames.bsky.social Discord channel) . The poster has a bunch more excellent photos from several points in their game.
Same here. My sons tell me that there is a current Detachment rule set that includes “Grot with Big Ideas” which might be a step towards just that.
The Grot models are consistently the best models in any Ork box.
While we are in the subject of how much fun Orks are…evidently we have some new fun on the way….not to mention, that he comes with this awesome lil’ dude:

Puppetswar 3D printed Orks with various weapons orking the WarTrukk.
And since I made another “Krumpin’ Dekk” for the howitzer to sit on, I was compelled to make a few more Orky krew to fight “Da Enemy” on the roads and the arenas of the Gaslands world.
Gun deck and swivel mount made from GW 40k bits and plastic card. Magnets hold the gun and allow for some vertical traverse.
Mantlet for the gun with some 3D print skulls added.
So as @wei-yau.bsky.social has recently discovered, constructing with plastic sheet and shapes is really fun….so I made a multipurpose “BFG” gun mount for Gaslands vehicles (it carries Ork branding, but any team could contract for use under the Orks’ finance arm, G-Ork Kapital.
These are terrific…and in play as destructible obstacles so they can be crashed through, I presume?

So in between other fun distractions, I finished these lil’ add-ons for the Gaslands Orks: a really nifty looking machine gun for the krew to shoot and a lil’ mounting bracket to allow everything to attached to anything 🏁😄

Most excellent. Are the billboards 3D prints?
I think the “Techie” teams, eg Miyazaki, Mishkin look best by keeping the profile aero and thus the weapons relatively integrated, so I’d suggest no big overt weapon.

Two 3D print cybertrucks that have been hacked up with a dremel and one with a broken off wrecking ball sitting on its mangled roof and clear resin smoke cloud emerging from its front end.
Here’s what I was up to today: executing my son’s great idea for Gaslands obstacles and ammo for the Wrekk Shootah - Some trashed cybertrucks….the wrecking ball will get a chain attached after paint and the smoke plume is magnet attached.
Yeah, that’s pretty much Space Gits by the creator of Gaslands. You move a small group (3 ish) of drunken Orks around a killteam size play area looting and fighting with each other until the cops show up.
