I was just thinking about how Hollywood can't make Dirty Dancing today because they're unimaginative and greedy.

It snows in Brooklyn.

My Achilles heel is the approval of my family; I need that dealt with immediately.

Because it is in constant conflict with who I am/want to be.

I may have to craft a Letterboxd list of genuinely fruitful, wild, and bold movies that fuck. Because I am worried for y’all. I need y’all to watch movies that aren’t handed to you on a platter by an industry that is allergic to artistry at this point.

They still get scared.
They still have doubts.
They still need support and loving relationships that enhance their experiences, that mirror their evolutions.

But they know who they are, and are WILLING to meet themselves a little further.

It’s not about time, it’s about breath.

Free women know how to tap into their flow state with an ease that untethers them from perfection.

That’s beautiful. Inspired by their desires and excited to meet it. They leave plenty of room for mistakes and grace.

They adjust their lives after being changed.

ironically, i feel very equipped to deal with this current version of society because a lot of people sound like my parents, LMAO. yearning, crying, praying, gnashing teeth supposedly in search of community and love and affection for YEARS without actually trying to exemplify what they desire.

the outstanding limited series to lacklustre season 2 pipeline must be stopped. plan a multi-season arc or commit to the self-contained story!

Validation comes with the creating. It’s embedded. So you will not be short of it. But the creating part is you validating yourself at most that you TRUST YOUR CURIOSITIES and there ain’t nothing better than that.

“I felt I had to do (it like) this. And now look where I am.”

This could be simpler than we think, and the thinness of the veil might be showing us that if we do what we actually want… for real for real… you would be surprised what wants you back.

And that’s the point of living.

Survival is a component, not the whole ting.

Get your body right because you love your body. Get back to writing because you’re excited about what you’ll discover this time. Stay at the job because it’s increasing a skill you didn’t think you had. Leave the job if it discombobulates you EVERY DAY.

Also, shift your ideas of the requirements.

Break your own rules. Surprise yourself.

Doing what you’re supposed to do will not cut it here. Your standard for “supposed to” was mostly instilled by tyrants lol. Let it go. Redefine this world in your head and share it.
